TGIF everyone!

oh so so glad its Friday, sooo needed rest, this week has just gone by sooo fast.

Looking forward to a calm relaxing weekend ;)

I made this card today for Unity's FWF with stamp of the week stamp :)

I colored in heart and sentiment with powdered chalk from Chalk a lot
I used the red powder with blender pen

Finished making this birthday card, using digi images from Tiddly Inks again ;)
just loving the new releases that came out, soooo cute!

I used some old SU paper I had and button, ribbon and tags from my shop ;)
colored her in with copics and triart markers.

I used some new stamps I got from Redlead paperworks, which are becoming one of my favs now, love the vintage style images.

Valentine mini album

my little album I just finished packing to add to my Zibbet shop :) Its full of great stuff here, with lots of ribbons, twines, laces, buttons, ready for pictures ;) I used a lot of Unity on this one, with Technique Tuesday and some other clear ones.
I did my second you tube video can you believe that :) I get soooo nervous making them, thats why I never tried but little by little I will conquer that fear lol

Well I have been seeing a lot of handmade flowers lately, and using trims and laces, so beautiful vintage look to them, love it.
Luckily I have a Zibbet shop and can use all the lace I want haha ;)
I did this flower using white trim.
I used lace and button also from my shop and MME pattern paper.
Sentiment is a clear sentiment, but can't remember at this moment from which company sorry.

Today at CPS I saw a sketch that I knew I wanted to try out, I had some scraps from current projects and this what perfect. I used a doily from my shop and made the sketch my own with some vintage/shabby chic theme.:)
oh and I used some buttons and bakers twine as well.

I used this wonderful stamp from Unity, I'm not sure though if its Unity or Ippity by Unity.
I chose this one stamp that even though issues have arose, He has still been good to me :) In midst of all the trials He is always there for me :)

Today I had the word Thank you in my head all day, so wanted to make a Thank you Card :)
I was looking at the ABC challenge blog and the challenge was to use the color Green, I am going through my 6x6 papers and found this paper from MME, I used this lace, button and sentiment fro MakingMemories, oh and the new little tags that are in the shop as well.

Also at the Clear It Out Blog, the challenge is to make a Thank You card, so this is perfect.
I faux stitched with white pen as well.

I made a card yippie! Wow, it had been a while since I made a card, with Christmas orders, and holiday projects, I hadn't dont a card maybe since the beginning of December, feels like forever.
I am cleaning out my craft area little by little and found I had a few scraps, so decided to use them up.
But now as I see the picture, not sure if they matched that well lol
I used two pieces of scrap paer, pieces of trim i had on my desk from yesterday's project, and pieces of cardstock. So happy to be clearing those little items out, feel sad to just throw them out.

Graduated to Scrapbooking when my oldest was born in an attempt to keep track of his life. Went on to card making a short time later when a friend invited me to a SU party.

My love for crafting began in high school with a class called Fabrics and Fibers. The focus of the class was weaving baskets and wall hangings, skills that I still use today. For years I just played with whatever crafting projects that came along. Latch hook, plastic canvas, sewing and the like, but never took any serious interest in crafting until 2003. I discovered the wonderful world of the Society for Creative Anachronism. In the SCA I learned about medieval arts and sciences. Everything from how glass was painted in 1340 in Germany to how Henry VIII seemed to have 15 outfits of from the same cloth. I've studied black work embroidery, period jewelry design, glass etching, belly dance and painting, basicly any craft that someone in the SCA knew and was willing to teach me. Dabbling in all forms of the arts and sciences but none that didn't feel restrictive. Although I am still an avid belly dancer, that's an art form that you will rarely see me do in a public forum. In the fall of 2010, my best friend and I had the dream of home ownership. Since that feels so far out of reach for us at this time, we decided that building a dollhouse was the logical answer. We began making miniture items and constructing a house. However, we soon found that was an expensive hobby and needed to venture elsewhere for our creative release and all important stress relief. Enter the world of paper crafting. I found a crafting medium that allowed diverse interests to be intergrated and allow the creative mojo to run wild. Through the magical world of the internet, I've been able to not only learn from creative and amazing crafters but to share my creations with the world. I'm a member of various crafting groups on Facebook, post on You Tube and share with the world via my blog. Being a designer for Creating is Fun Zibbet shop is another exciting opportunity to meet wonderful crafters and share in our mutual love for creation.

Hey Everyone, hope your Christmas weekend was all that you wanted it to be. I am truly grateful for all those around me, my family and friends, we are blessed. I'm extremely grateful for my husband and kiddos because this week, they really helped me out in all the Christmas rush. I was able to finish all the Christmas orders, and 2 days of baking for Christmas gifts.

I should of took pictures of the family in action lol. I made chocolate chip with walnut cookies, some banana nut bread. I think the family loved them for what I'm hearing ;)

Yesterday's you guys saw a preview of my daily journal that I'm doing for myself, and I'm focusing this week on a scripture that talks about giving my hear, soul, mind and strength to him. Its in Mark 12:30
and the great thing about journaling, there is no right or wrong way to do things. I know my pages will love better as I give myself more time to finish them up, but just love to be able to express myself and add those pages to my mini.
Plus, there is no right or write thing to write about, I chose to reflect on my walk with God, and I think that will help me in my own personal walk with him ;)

I've been wanting to make a Journal for myself, and what a great way to start was to start with a December Daily, well I had high hopes to finish it, but I've just had the time to alter it haha.
I actually found this video on you tube where you alter a file folder and thats what I did with myne. I covered it with K&COmpany paper and so far I just have that done :)

I will be finishing it up as I go along :)
My first page to it, though is a cute tag i made with my scripture for today which is in Mark. I will love my Lord with all my heart, soul and strength, and using Unity stamps

Today I worked on some invites for a couples dinner I'm hosting soon ;)

I recently bought some diamond dust, and wow cant believe I never bought it sooner!!!! I love it. the nice sparkle it gives the projects. Was a little pricy, I think thats why I hesitated but now its soooo worth it.

I stamped a christmas tree from Verve with white ink, after it dried it added some diamond glaze and than the dust for some shine.

I tied some gray seam binding and some buttons. Both the binding and buttons available at my shop ;)

take lots of pictures :)
I finished up another mini today, this one is made with coin envelopes as well, trying to use up all these envelopes I just had in my stash and never used. Great way to use them up and not buy something new ;)
On cover tag I added some snow-tex to make it look like real snow, and also in one of the pages inside the album so when they add the picture it will look cute and wintery :)

Die cuts made with MTC and cricut. what I love about MTC is all those free files we can find ;)

Hey Everyone, Thanksgiving is this Thursday!! Cant wait! Family time and lots of good food!! I bet we are all excited. I wanted to make a little something for everyone, and had a few Holiday papers from the Teresa Collins collection, and was thinking what should I make with the rest of the paper. Well Hubby actually gave me this idea the other day, they had some Christmas cones at Marshalls for like $4 each and he tells me that I can make them. Sure enough, I had to try :)

I finished the Christmas mini yay :)

Yay, its Friday!!! yippie, we all love Fridays ;)
For today I did a card using trims from my etsy ;) and Unity stamps.
I had some envelopes from Teresa Collins Kit I bought and figured I got to use them up soon before Thanksgiving, so I made a quick card.

hey everyone, wanted to show you a little sneak peak I am working on, I was working on it for an order, but just realized that they had asked me to add sentiments in Spanish, so I might just finish it up and add it to my artfire account, Gotta create a new one ;) I used stamps from different companies, so far I've used Unity, PTI, Stampin up, some trims from Etsy of course :) and my new fav embellishment to use is some Bakers Twine!! loving it.
On the snowflake I actually used some diamond dust to give it some shine, but you cant tell on the picture here.
oh and mini is made from coin envelopes too, loving that I'm using up all the stash i have here. :)
I'll post more pictures soon as I finish the mini, just loving how its coming out that I had to show it off hahaha ;)

Did you guys see the contest over at Mojo Monday, win some stamps for participating in the sketch this week :) I made this quick card using the same papers I've been using this week, trying to finish them up before cutting any new ones, so I wont have to many scraps left ;)

Hey Everyone, I'm finally in the roll of making projects again. Yesterday I was looking at some you tube videos of mini albums made from coin envelopes, well I have lots of those that have not been used for a while, I altered it with Teresa Collins papers and diecuts that I received from Crafty Steals a couple of months ago, and finally opened that package :)
This mini has 5 envelopes covered from and back and embellished with trims and buttons from my etsy shop.
I just added mini to artfire shop if anyone is interested ;)

Hey everyone, here with a really quick friend card using scrap of pattern paper that was left from yesterday's card. I am working on a little mini as well with the same papers so you will see that project soon too :)

What I did a card today, woot woot, what a miracle! lol. little by little gonna get my mojo back, still need to organize lots of stuff in my craft room but atleast I know where my main stuff are at, so happy :)
Today I did a quick card using some of my new trims I just added to my etsy shop.
I used some paper and diecut from Teresa collins, buttons from etsy as well and orange ribbon I had on my etsy previously.

yay! Cant wait to get crafting mojo again and start those Holiday Projects. I hope to be crafting over the weekend, so starting next week, you will finally get to see something posted on my blog ;)

Hey Everyone, just wanted to show you some little kits I have been working on for my Etsy. These little embellishments kits sell for $3 each :) Now thats a great price, but if you saw my previous post, I am having a sale, so you could get them for an even great price haha.
